Noise of Art intended to be at Glastonbury and supporting Pride events this weekend.  Neither is possible. But here are some links to Ben Osborne DJing at Glastonbury Festival (pictured) and Little Chill Festival. Have a great Pride and Glastonbury weekend wherever you are… Until we dance again.

Here’s a couple of links to Ben Osborne at Little Chill Festival and Glastonbury 2019

Noise of Art Covid-19 update

by on Jun.10, 2020, under Events

Noise of Art is grateful to be able to begin taking steps toward the future and will be announcing new projects soon – we thank Arts Council England for making this and many other arts projects possible in the time of Covid.

Sadly some of the people that brought light to our world will no longer be with us.

It is with sadness we remember  TY, a short video of him playing at the Woodbridge Festival Noise of Art programmed in 2014 is above. And we hope our friend and collaborator Laurent Garnier doesn’t mind us sharing his pictorial tribute posted on Instagram to remember some the other artists we lost.

These include  Little Richard, Florian Schneider, Hamilton Bohannon, Dave Greenfield, Manu Dibango, Mike Huckaby, Sweet Pea Atkinson, Betty Wright, Phil May, Mory Kanté, Adam Schlesinger, Patrick (Francfort) Gibson,  Andy Gill, Matthew Seligman, Joseph Shabala, Barbara Martin, Bill Withers… The music lives on, thank you.

And we stand together with our friends in the USA who, faced with a terrible example of police brutality,  have led the world in demanding what in this time should not need demanding…

Black Lives Matter.
