<p>Noise of Art&#8217;s forthcoming London programme will run from 17 September to 14 October, including the Metiss’age Street Art Festival, supported by the Cultural Programme of the European Union.</p>
<p>Following recent events at Latitude, Sketch, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Britain and Spot Festival Denmark, the month of London events will include club nights, street art painting, contemporary dance, costumes, performance art, street performers and circus acts, all set around Noise of Art’s core of electronic club music.</p>
<p>Noise of Art is also supporting Tree For Cities and the Treeathalon, to raise awareness and funds for its work planting trees in inner city environments.</p>

<p><strong>Saturday 17 September Day Event</strong><br />
Noise of Art presents<br />
Metiss’age Junior Street Art Festival and Music Picnic<br />
@ the Treeathalon, Battersea Park, London SW11<br />
Free entry: 10am – 3pm<br />
The Metiss’age street art festival and music picnic is an all ages family event celebrating life in the city and cultural and ecological diversity. Organised by Noise of Art, it will run alongside the Trees For Cities Treeathalon event in Battersea Park.</p>
<p>The centre piece of Metiss’age is an interactive street painting celebrating cultural and eco diversity in London and designed by London artist Miss Led. It will be painted by young people and members of the public. The day is part of two sister festivals being held in Rome and Paris. It will feature a barefoot 100 meter world record attempt, performance art, acrobats, jugglers, a solar powered mobile music stage, costumes, dance, music, cross platform art and trees.</p>
<p>The Metiss’age events are organised in partnership with Global Warming in Paris and Explora in Rome and are suppoted by and part of the European Union’s Cultural Programme. Acts to be announced soon.</p>

Noise of Art founder, DJ Ben Osborne, is joined by Dec Shoes (live), Rupert The Brewer, The People Pile, Overlap, Your Mum and a further line-up of special guests, to be announced.</p>

<p>Inspired by the 30th Anniversary of the UK’s most famous UFO incident at RAF Woodbridge, Suffolk in 1980, we’ve joined forces with Town Hall Galleries, Ipswich, to launch a spectacular immersive club event at <a href="http://www.latitudefestival.co.uk">Latitude</a> on Friday 16 July.</p>
<p>Noise of Art’s new show, <em>UFO: Rendlesham Incident</em>, has a peak-time slot from midnight &#8211; 3am, where we’ll be bring some of London’s finest club acts and DJs to the festival’s Music and Film Arena on its opening night.</p>
<p>Expect a 360-degree performance of cosmic disco, surround visuals, space freaks and interactive performers. A one-off live cosmic super-group featuring My Toys Like Me, The 9000, We Are KAN’T and critically acclaimed DJs Severino and Ben Osborne will all be providing the interstellar soundtrack. </p>
<p>The event will be followed by an Alien Art Hunt at Latitude Festival on the Saturday and Sunday, featuring real artworks for finders to take home. Look out for details of the high profile and up and coming artists involved, and where the hunts will be. If in doubt, ask an alien.</p>

<p>The live shows included music from The Emperor Machine, Faze Action, Les Hommes Du Train, Ben Osborne, Severino, The Juan Maclean, Chateau Flight, DJ T and Thomas Schumacher. Performance and costume artists The Immaculate Extremists provided the theatricals and MOTH, Overlap and Funkcutter created and re-edited live visuals. The bfi sourced rare footage of Soviet Space missions.</p>
